PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daren Devilin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nolan Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin has chosen War - The Sick Puppies as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daren Devilin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nolan Martin!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Devilin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Martin.

Martin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Check out the look on Martin's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Martin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Devilin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Devilin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Devilin wants it to stay on the feet.

Martin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Devilin is trying to defend but Martin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well Martin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
