The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honey tries to bum rush Tupac with a series of wild strikes but Tupac uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Honey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tupac was well out of range. Poor timing from Honey.

Tupac throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Honey was covering up waiting for the punch and Tupac finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Tupac wants to pass the guard but Honey is keeping the position.
Tupac throwing strikes but missing.
Honey working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tupac.
Honey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tupac. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tupac postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Honey preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Tupac tries to free his leg and advance position but Honey is retaining full guard.

Tupac throws and elbow that misses. Honey uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tupac's guard. Nice move by Honey!

Tupac is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tupac looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Honey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

It looks like Young Tupac has been cut.
Hugh Honey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Honey bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tupac shoots in for a takedown but Honey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tupac is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Honey lands with a big right hook that stumbles Tupac - he's out on his feet here! Honey follows up with another monster hook that separates Tupac from consciousness! Tupac falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Honey stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
