Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Migeal Quintes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Migeal Quintes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scott Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brooks forces Quintes back against the cage and clinches.
Brooks is pressed up against the cage. Quintes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brooks down to the mat. Brooks avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Brooks stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brooks wants it to stay on the feet.
Brooks throws and low kick but Quintes moves out of range easily.
Quintes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brooks as he jumps to the side.

Quintes scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Quintes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brooks tries to avoid it but Quintes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brooks to the ground. Brooks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Quintes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brooks's guard.

Quintes drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brooks manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Quintes has Brooks in his guard.
Quintes is breathing heavily.

Brooks decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Brooks scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Brooks tries to land a leg kick but Quintes saw it coming and moves away.
Quintes swats away the attempt to clinch by Brooks.
Quintes misses with a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Quintes dodges the punch combination from Brooks.
Brooks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Brooks looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Quintes keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Brooks's efforts to push away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brooks throws some wild stikes that Quintes manages to avoid easily.
Brooks lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Brooks sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
