Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dimas Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kalsong karln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). kalsong karln has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Russo checks a leg kick.
Russo tries to clinch but karln moves out of range.
Russo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Russo tries to close the distance and clinch but karln swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
karln tries to bum rush Russo with a series of wild strikes but Russo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
karln misses with a series of wild punches.
karln throws a series of punches but Russo moves out of range.
Russo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around karln's waist but karln gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Russo off to one side.

Russo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst karln is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
karln throws a big right hand that misses.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
karln lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Russo circles away quickly and effectively.

Russo clinches up with karln and pushes him back against the cage.

karln wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Russo has him pressed against the cage.
Russo is trying to maintain a safe position but karln gets an underhook and turns Russo into the cage.
karln has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Russo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Russo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but karln has him pressed against the cage.
karln is trying to force a seperation but Russo has the dominant position.
Russo tries to break the clinch but karln is controlling the position.
Russo has karln pressed against the cage, preventing karln from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Russo manages to break the clinch.

karln shoots in and bounces Russo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
karln is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

karln tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Russo is in a horrible position here. karln smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Russo is breathing heavily.

Russo has left one of his arms exposed and karln doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Russo screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
