Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ransti misses with a straight right.
Ransti throws a head kick that misses.
Worsely connects with a right hand. Ransti shakes it off.
Ransti tries to close the distance and clinch but Worsely swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Worsely misses the shot to the body.

Worsely shoots in and bounces Ransti off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Worsely throwing strikes from guard but Ransti blocks nicely.
Worsely wants to pass the guard but Ransti is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Worsely throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ransti works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Worsely accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Worsely circles away from the clinch attempt.

Worsely throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ransti was covering up waiting for the punch and Worsely finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Worsely is in close to Ransti's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Ransti is looking to get back to his feet here but Worsely is keeping cool and he's managed to take Ransti's back.
Ransti is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Worsely is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Worsely gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Worsely gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Worsely apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Worsely closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Worsely lands in his opponent's guard.

Worsely shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Worsely was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
