The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fresco finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Tynin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tynin moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Fresco thumps Tynin with a low kick.
Tynin throws a series of punches but Fresco avoids them all with ease.
Fresco fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tynin.
Tynin misses with a wild combination.
Tynin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fresco moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tynin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fresco was well out of range. Poor timing from Tynin.

Fresco will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fresco moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and Fresco makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Tynin is looking to wear down Fresco with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Fresco throws a right and a left that Tynin avoids nicely.

Fresco drops his hands momentarily and Tynin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fresco takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A left lands for Tynin.
The crowd cheers as Tynin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fresco doesn't seem phased though.

Fresco has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tynin finds it's way round the side to connect with Fresco's head.
Slade Tynin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fresco looks to score with a jab to the body but Tynin is just out of range.
Tynin is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Fresco avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Tynin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fresco did well to prevent Tynin getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tynin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fresco with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tynin is breathing heavily.
Fresco throwing punches from his back. He's mounted here but still fighting back.
Fresco tries to hold on but Tynin postures up.
Fresco slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Fresco is trying to control but can't.
Tynin is nestled in close to Fresco, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fresco has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tynin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fresco defends it well.

Fresco tries to roll over but Tynin keeps him under control.

Fresco is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tynin pulls his head out easily.

Tynin avoids the strikes from the bottom by Fresco.
Fresco takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tynin looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Fresco is avoiding damage well.
Fresco wants to control but Tynin postures up.
Tynin lands a few punches from side control.
Fresco is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tynin asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Fresco tries to buck Tynin off but Tynin is having none of it.

Tynin is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Fresco is trying to escape and Tynin transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Fresco is forced to tap! Nice work there by Tynin! Very nice indeed!
