Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sean Sutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Sutton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edward Penn!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Penn as he connects with a hook.
Penn lands the left hand.


Sutton is rocked!
Sutton misses with a head kick.
Oh Sutton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sutton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sutton seems to have got his legs back now.
Sutton wants to clinch.
Sutton tries to clinch up but Penn circles away and keeps his distance.
Penn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Sutton tries to close the distance and clinch but Penn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sutton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Sutton seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Sutton lands an elbow that stopped Penn in his tracks for a moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sutton manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Penn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Penn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sutton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Penn has managed to get both his arms back between Sutton's legs - danger averted.
Penn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Sutton controls Penn momentarily but Penn frees himself.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sutton is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sutton drops back, looking for a kneebar! Penn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Penn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Penn!
Sutton is pushing Penn's head away, looking to escape. Penn manages to hold on to the position though.
Penn passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Sutton!

Penn drops Sutton with a naaaaasty hook - Sutton is in real trouble here! Penn dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
