The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Meridius. Meridius obviously looking to wear him down.
Meridius throws a series of punches but Hansen moves out of range.

Meridius gets caught flat footed, as Hansen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Meridius manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hansen manages to get himself to full guard.
Hansen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Meridius is one step ahead there.
