Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorge throws a quick inside leg kick.
garcia moves into range and clinches up with Jorge.
Jorge is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. garcia is defending well for now.

Jorge tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and garcia avoids it.

Jorge wants to stand but garcia is controlling his posture from full guard.

garcia tries to clinch but Jorge is having none of it.
Jorge bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of garcia's head.

Jorge takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Jorge wants to stand back up but garcia manages to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jorge throws a looping overhand right but garcia ducks down to avoid it.

Jorge stuffs the takedown attempt from garcia. garcia gets slowly back to his feet.

garcia turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and garcia manages to end up in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Jorge is trying to stand back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jorge is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
garcia has good solid back control here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

garcia shoots in looking for a takedown. Jorge tries to sprawl out of it but garcia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jorge manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

garcia is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jorge's shoulder. That is not cool.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
garcia in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The referee asks garcia politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. garcia prefers to stall for the moment though.
garcia tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no garcia has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
