Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mariusz Jurczyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and hydro mint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mint has chosen Fed Up as his entrance music. hydro mint looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mint wants to clinch.
Jurczyk scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jurczyk.
Jurczyk shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts mint as he jumps to the side.
mint leaves Jurczyk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by Jurczyk or perhaps it was just good defense by mint which made him look bad.

mint is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jurczyk closes the distance and clinches up with mint, looking for a takedown. Jurczyk pushes mint against the cage but mint circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

mint manages to escape and get back to his feet!
mint ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
mint slaps away a takedown attempt from Jurczyk, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jurczyk takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

mint throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jurczyk.

mint moves in looking to clinch but Jurczyk pushes him off.
Jurczyk dives in and grabs mint's left leg, looking for a takedown. mint pushes down on Jurczyk's head and hops out.

mint is pushing Jurczyk up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

mint postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jurczyk is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of mint, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
mint has momentary wrist control but Jurczyk slips an elbow through the middle.

mint working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jurczyk doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jurczyk manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jurczyk shoots in for a double leg but mint sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jurczyk seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

mint had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jurczyk is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. mint Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jurczyk's back instead.

Jurczyk has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. mint is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mariusz Jurczyk.
I think Jurczyk has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
