Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Halibut Halibut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Lawlor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halibut comes to the cage accompanied by Peter You Suck. Lawlor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Loser kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Halibut counters with a three punch combo that has Lawlor backing up. Lawlor nods at Halibut to acknowledge the strikes.

Lawlor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Halibut gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Halibut wants to pass the guard but Lawlor is keeping the position.
Halibut slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Halibut gets to his feet - Lawlor follows without any prompting.

and Halibut counters with a stiff right hand.
Halibut rushes Lawlor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Halibut closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lawlor to the mat! Lawlor manages to get full guard.

Halibut not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Lawlor wants to stand and escape but Halibut is having none of it.

Halibut has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lawlor to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Halibut is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lawlor pulls down on the head and he's put Halibut to sleep! This one is all over!
