The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sephiroth lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Mahmoud Gameel has been cut.
Gameel tries to clinch up.
Gameel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Gameel wants to free his trapped foot but Sephiroth is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Sephiroth is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gameel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gameel's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gameel is trying to defend against the choke here but Sephiroth has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Sephiroth Tightens the hold and Gameel taps out furiously! Sephiroth displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
