Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Pequeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Modsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Modsev has chosen Channel X - Rave The Rythm as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pequeno tries to keep at a distance but Modsev has taken the fight into the clinch.
Pequeno wants to get back to striking at distance but Modsev won't allow it.
Modsev is trying to break the clinch but Pequeno is controlling him.

Modsev manages to break the clinch.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Modsev!
Good exchange - Modsev coming out on top.
Pequeno will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pequeno takes a swing at Modsev's ribcage but misses.
Pequeno takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Modsev gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Modsev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Modsev.
Pequeno has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Modsev drives through and clinches with Pequeno against the ropes.

Pequeno drops Modsev with a beautiful combination! Modsev stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pequeno is looking for the KO!

It looks like Harry Modsev has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pequeno throws a right hand that Modsev ducks under and follows up with a left that Modsev also avoids with ease.
Pequeno changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Modsev throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Modsev works over Pequeno's head and body with a nice combination.
Modsev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pequeno.

Pequeno lands with a big right hook that stumbles Modsev - he's out on his feet here! Pequeno follows up with another monster hook that separates Modsev from consciousness! Modsev falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Pequeno stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
