Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nitro tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and simpson is able to avoid easily.
Nitro lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Horrible takedown by Nitro or perhaps it was just good defense by simpson which made him look bad.
simpson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nitro circles away.
simpson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nitro pinned against the cage. Nitro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and simpson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nitro can do anything to dispel that myth.

simpson slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Nitro.
simpson wants to pass to mount but Nitro is defending the position.

simpson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nitro's guard.

simpson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Nitro's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Max Nitro is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
