The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there.
Johnson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Chmielewski tries to get to full guard but Johnson has control of the leg.
Johnson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Johnson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Johnson content to control rather than advance.
Johnson works his foot free and advances to mount.
Chmielewski can't escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson avoids the attempt from Chmielewski to control.
Chmielewski could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Johnson looking to isolate an arm here. Chmielewski doesn't see it coming and as Johnson extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Johnson!
