Money has chosen Gives You Hell as his entrance music. Money has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Money looks gassed!
Battle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Money 's waist but Money gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Battle off to one side.

Battle gets a takedown into half guard.
Battle wants to stand up but Money is controlling the position.
Battle tries to pass to full mount but Money defends it.
Battle wants to stand up but Money has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Battle sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Money defending well though.
Battle seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Battle frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Money really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Battle punching from mount but Money doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Money avoids a strike by Battle and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Battle's guard! Fantastic escape!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Battle is controlling Money 's posture.
Money stops Battle from standing up.
Battle is trying to control the position but Money postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Money takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That has opened up Smasher Money 's cut even more.
Nice shot lands for Battle.
Daquan Battle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Battle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Money is looking for a sweep.
Money taking punishment in the form of punches.
You can see the frustration on Money 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Money sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Money blocking the ground and pound attempt from Battle.
Battle has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Battle looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smasher Money 's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
