Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Seed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and drew peacock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seed's entrance music is Enter the dragon. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seed misses with a head kick.
peacock shoots in looking for a takedown. Seed tries to sprawl out of it but peacock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Seed manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Seed lands a nice shot to the body.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

peacock has one foot on Seed's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Horrible takedown by peacock or perhaps it was just good defense by Seed which made him look bad.

peacock moves into range and clinches up with Seed.
peacock tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Seed just stands there and leans against the cage.
peacock has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
peacock wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Seed has him pressed against the cage.

Seed escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

peacock feints and as Seed raises his hands in defense, peacock changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Seed throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

A close round but drew peacock will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and peacock counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Seed is lucky that one didn't land flush.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! peacock crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Seed - the referee stops the clock and peacock gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Seed. peacock manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

peacock walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
