Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Lidell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Gunner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lidell comes into the arena with Year of the Icemandog blaring out of the sound system. Mike Gunner has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chuck Lidell's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunner closes the distance and clinches up with Lidell, looking for a takedown. Gunner pushes Lidell against the cage but Lidell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gunner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lidell.
It looks like Mike Gunner has been cut.
Lidell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gunner.
Gunner tests Lidell's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lidell fails with a takedown attempt.
Gunner lands a big right hand that sends Lidell crashing to the mat! Gunner stays standing though and waves Lidell back to his feet!

Lidell shoots for a takedown but Gunner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Gunner jumps guard but Lidell stands there with Gunner around his waist. Gunner gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
