PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Kobayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Bonnie Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Bonnie Jr.
Bonnie Jr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bonnie Jr wants it to stay on the feet.
Bonnie Jr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bonnie Jr misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kobayashi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kobayashi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kobayashi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
