Disimone shoots in for a takedown but Tate shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Disimone.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Disimone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Disimone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Disimone shoots in for a double leg but Tate sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tate stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A decent looking cross lands there for Tate.
Tommy Disimone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tate cracks Disimone on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Disimone falls backwards against the cage. Tate follows up with more strikes that drop Disimone to his knees. Tate keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Disimone! This one is all over!
