Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramon Dekker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a hook to the side of Dekker's head but Dekker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dekker keeps Johnson at a distance using the push kick.
Dekker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dekker lands with a kick to the temple. Johnson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Dekker throws a nice head kick!
Johnson throws a hook to the side of Dekker's head but Dekker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Dekker throws a head kick that Johnson semi-blocks.
Dekker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johnson throws out the jab.
Dekker misses with a body kick.
Dekker goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Dekker throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.

Dekker throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dekker fails with a takedown attempt.

Johnson blocks a head kick by Dekker.

Johnson drops Dekker with a beautiful combination! Dekker stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Johnson is looking for the KO!
Dekker is rocked!
It looks like Ramon Dekker has been cut.
Dekker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ramon Dekker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dekker lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Charlie Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dekker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Some bone on bone action there as Johnson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Dekker chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Dekker throws a leg kick that misses.
Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dekker's hands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dekker throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dekker shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ramon Dekker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Johnson takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Dekker swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Johnson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dekker throws an overhand right that lands on Johnson's shoulder, as Johnson tries to avoid the shot.
Dekker fails with the takedown
and Johnson counters with a nice right hand that sends Dekker toppling to the canvas! Dekker scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Johnson finish him?!
Oh Dekker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dekker is breathing heavily.
Johnson avoids the head kick by Dekker.
Dekker seems to have got his legs back now.
Johnson lands with a straight right. Dekker didn't see that one coming.
Ramon Dekker's cut is getting worse.
Dekker throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily.
Dekker misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dekker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Johnson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Johnson lands a left and a right that send Dekker crashing to the mat, dazed. Johnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dekker loses concentration momentarily and Johnson pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Dekker crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Johnson finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Charlie Johnson!
