The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mossey gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mossey looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Early looks for a takedown but Mossey sprawls well.

Mossey gets caught flat footed, as Early shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Early is looking to take a break and control but Mossey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Early has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mossey is proving hard to escape from.
Early trying to control the position from guard on top but Mossey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Early moves into range and clinches up with Mossey .

Mossey goes for a takedown attempt but Early pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Mossey takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Early has managed to clinch.
Early's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Mossey goes for a takedown attempt but Early pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mossey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Early's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Early's back!

Mossey is working for a rear naked choke. Early is not defending it well and Mossey has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Early refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Early's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
