The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardly scores with a three punch combo!
Hardly lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

bjj shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

bjj is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hardly can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

bjj prevents Hardly from getting the reversal.
bjj is landing with some decent strikes but Hardly is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hardly looks to land a combination. bjj sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Hardly closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks bjj out cold! bjj corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
