Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ippo Makunouchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koji Matsuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matsuda has chosen 科学忍者隊ガッチャ as his entrance music. Koji Matsuda looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makunouchi moves out of range of the body kick.
Matsuda moves out of range as Makunouchi strikes.
Makunouchi misses with a straight right.
Matsuda drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Koji Matsuda has been cut.
Matsuda misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Matsuda throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Makunouchi.
Makunouchi misses the shot to the body.
Makunouchi tries to close the distance and clinch but Matsuda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Makunouchi is looking to clinch.
Makunouchi tries to clinch but Matsuda is having none of it.
Matsuda slips under a jab.
Matsuda swats away the attempt to clinch by Makunouchi.
Matsuda throws a leg kick which misses Makunouchi's front leg but catches the back leg as Makunouchi tries to avoid it.
Makunouchi throws a nice looking combination but Matsuda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Matsuda blocks a jab.

Makunouchi has taken the fight to the clinch.
Matsuda takes an elbow to the temple.
Matsuda unloads a knee to the mid-section. Makunouchi lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Makunouchi manages to break the clinch.
Makunouchi misses with an uppercut.
Makunouchi fails with an attempt to clinch.

Matsuda throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Matsuda gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Makunouchi throws out a powerful jab.

Matsuda rushes Makunouchi and presses him up against the cage.
Matsuda unloads a knee to the mid-section. Makunouchi lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Matsuda escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A punch combination from Matsuda misses.
Matsuda throws a lazy right hand but Makunouchi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Matsuda connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Makunouchi tumbling to the canvas! Matsuda pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Makunouchi was done - good stoppage!
