Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Repe Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Audet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Audet has chosen Black Eyed Peas - Pump it as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

It looks like Repe Sorsa has been cut.
Audet prevents Sorsa from breaking the clinch.

Audet has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sorsa clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Audet really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Sorsa.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Audet slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Audet can do anything to dispel that myth.

Audet is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sorsa defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Audet with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Audet has Sorsa pressed against the cage, preventing Sorsa from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Audet gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Audet postures up and lands a big shot to Sorsa's brow.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Audet tries to clinch but Sorsa moves out of range.

Audet stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sorsa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Audet postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sorsa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Audet, into his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Audet tries to close the distance and clinch but Sorsa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Repe Sorsa.
