Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shane Pamatigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maia comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Alive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Shane Pamatigan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pamatigan misses with a takedown attempt - Maia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Pamatigan gets a takedown into half guard.

Maia is looking for a sweep. Pamatigan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Pamatigan is trying to control. Maia wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Pamatigan is really struggling to control Maia but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Pamatigan moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Maia.
Maia looks gassed!

Maia is looking to regain half guard here but Pamatigan keeps moving and retains side control.
Maia is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Pamatigan clinches up against the cage.

Pamatigan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maia blocks a head kick by Pamatigan.

Pamatigan rushes Maia and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Pamatigan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Maia gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pamatigan counters with a solid body kick.

Pamatigan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Pamatigan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Maia is just riding it out for now. Pamatigan eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pamatigan stands up from half guard.

Pamatigan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pamatigan showed some decent athleticism there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pamatigan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Maia with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Pamatigan is working for a kimura but Maia is defending it quite comfortably.

Pamatigan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Pamatigan connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Pamatigan tries to control but Maia wriggling away.

Pamatigan stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Pamatigan dives in and grabs Maia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maia pushes down on Pamatigan's head and hops out.
Maia doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Pamatigan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Maia keeping moving, preventing Pamatigan from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maia is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pamatigan is aware though and is defending well.

Pamatigan wants to control from the top but Maia keeps moving.

Pamatigan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Maia to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pamatigan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Maia pulls down on the head and he's put Pamatigan to sleep! This one is all over!
