Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaarlo Kyroskoski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kaarlo Kyroskoski!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Baker.
Kyroskoski looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kyroskoski keeps the fight on the outside.

Baker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Baker is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Kyroskoski is defending against the submission attempts here by Baker.
Baker thows a huge punch but Kyroskoski dodges it nicely.
Baker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Baker wants to work for an arm triangle but Kyroskoski is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Baker decides to stand and escape the position.

Baker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kyroskoski was covering up waiting for the punch and Baker finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Baker stays in close to Kyroskoski's body and controls the position.

Baker gets to his feet - Kyroskoski follows without any prompting.

Kyroskoski gets caught flat footed, as Baker shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Baker tries to free his leg and advance position but Kyroskoski is retaining full guard.
Baker wants to control from the top but Kyroskoski keeps moving.
Baker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Kyroskoski is trying to keep Baker in close.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The referee warns Kyroskoski that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Baker lands a nice short elbow.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Baker is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kyroskoski sees it coming and defends easily.
Baker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kyroskoski can do to turn this around?
Baker is stalling here. Kyroskoski is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Baker seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kyroskoski has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
