Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Houston Sprewell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sprewell throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Sprewell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Smith.
Sprewell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Smith wants to finish this one by submission but Sprewell is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Smith.

Smith jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sprewell is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sprewell and Smith has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Smith tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Smith is trying to get an arm triangle but Sprewell is defending well.

Sprewell is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Smith is controlling him well.

Smith tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Smith has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sprewell is breathing heavily.

Smith has an Americana. Sprewell didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Smith is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Smith hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
