Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Romance - Lady GaGa. Carlos Gracie has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camoes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Camoes is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Camoes.

Camoes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gracie was covering up waiting for the punch and Camoes finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Camoes swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Gracie is now in Camoes's guard. A big mistake from Camoes there, giving up the dominant position!

Camoes is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Gracie knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Gracie for a finish.

Camoes has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gracie has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Camoes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Camoes tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Camoes has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Carlos Gracie.
Well Camoes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
