Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pekka Pouta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jukka Pekka!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pekka shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pekka was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Pouta tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Pekka is looking to stand up but Pouta won't let him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pekka drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pouta manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pekka has Pouta in his guard.
Pekka looking for a guillotine here but Pouta defends easily.
Pouta looking to sit in guard and control but Pekka gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Pekka prevents Pouta from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Pekka misses with a two punch combination.
Pouta shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pekka napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Pouta stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Pouta lands with a nice combination. Pekka backs away looking to recover.
Pekka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Pekka is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pouta has escaped the position, nice work there.
Pouta is not content to let Pekka control the position.
Pouta is trying to control Pekka's posture but Pekka avoids it.
Pekka is breathing heavily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pekka gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pouta to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Pekka working for a triangle but Pouta defends it easily.

Pouta stands and steps away. Pekka gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Pouta bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pekka is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pouta scores with a couple of nice shots.
Pouta thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pouta is trying to control the action in half guard but Pekka is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Pouta wants to stand up but Pekka is controlling the position.
Pouta stands up and beckons Pekka to join him on the feet.
Pekka keeps the fight on the outside.
Pouta shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pekka decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pouta's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pekka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pekka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
