Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ringo Starr!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bin Ladin throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bin Ladin lands a nice looking body kick.

Starr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Starr goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bin Ladin rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Starr's guard! Nice work there by Bin Ladin!
Starr looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Starr looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bin Ladin has picked Starr up and slammed him! Starr can't keep hold of the triangle and Bin Ladin manages to pass to side control!

Bin Ladin decides to stand up, so the ref orders Starr to his feet.

Starr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Starr looking to sit in guard and control but Bin Ladin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Bin Ladin passes into side control, despite Starr's attempt to control the position.

Bin Ladin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Starr tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bin Ladin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bin Ladin tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Starr wants to improve his position but Bin Ladin is controlling well.
Starr manages to get to full guard.

Starr is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bin Ladin is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bin Ladin is looking for a triangle but Starr pushes his legs off easily.
Starr wants to pass the guard but Bin Ladin is keeping the position.
Starr trying to control the position from guard on top but Bin Ladin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Starr tries to free his leg and advance position but Bin Ladin is retaining full guard.
Bin Ladin wants to sweep but no luck.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Starr takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Starr steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bin Ladin. That one must have hurt.

Starr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Starr is working for a submission of some sort.
Starr prevents Bin Ladin from improving his position.

Starr is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bin Ladin sees it coming and defends easily.
Starr is looking to take a break and control but Bin Ladin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A head kick from Bin Ladin lands but Starr takes it in his stride.
Bin Ladin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Starr's calf.
Bin Ladin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Starr looks for a takedown but Bin Ladin sprawls well.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bin Ladin.
Bin Ladin delivers a nice body kick.
Starr takes a kick to the side of the head.
Starr takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bin Ladin looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Starr stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bin Ladin.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Starr tries for a takedown but Bin Ladin manages to get underhooks.
Bin Ladin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Starr blocks it with crossed arms.

Bin Ladin breaks from the clinch.

Bin Ladin gets caught flat footed, as Starr shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Starr looking to sit in guard and control but Bin Ladin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Starr looking for a sweep. Not yet Starr, not yet.
Starr keeping moving, preventing Bin Ladin from controlling successfully.

Bin Ladin drops back looking for a leg! Starr is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Starr manages to kick Bin Ladin off! Bin Ladin jumps back into Starr's guard.

Starr looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Starr is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bin Ladin has his hands clasped together but Starr extends an breaks Bin Ladin's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Starr.
