The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
HammerTree rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thompson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
HammerTree throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Thompson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from HammerTree.
HammerTree tries to land a leg kick but Thompson saw it coming and moves away.
The fighters circling - Thompson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Thompson misses with a few strikes there.
Thompson throws a shot from downtown. HammerTree moves away and avoids it.
HammerTree throws a leg kick but Thompson sees it coming and moves out of range.
Thompson lands a jab.
Thompson lands a lovely overhand right.
HammerTree falls off balance throwing a combination
and Thompson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Thompson and HammerTree goes tumbling to the canvas! Thompson follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
HammerTree is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thompson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for HammerTree to stand up.
Oh HammerTree is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kyle HammerTree seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crack! Thompson connects with the perfect overhand right and HammerTree falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Thompson!
