The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Youe throws a lazy right hand but Akomolede sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Akomolede avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Akomolede throws a hook but Youe blocks it.
Youe misses with a straight left.
Youe bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Akomolede's head.
Akomolede slips a jab from Youe.
Akomolede stuns Youe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Youe looks to land a right hand but Akomolede moved out of range.
Youe throws a big shot that misses.
Akomolede shoots in and bounces Youe off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Akomolede sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Youe's guard.
Akomolede tries to pass the half guard into mount. Youe knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Akomolede will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Youe throws a hook but Akomolede blocks it.
Akomolede uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Youe.

Youe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Akomolede.

Akomolede throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Youe.

Youe is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Youe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Akomolede.
Youe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
