The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nettles throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tasalakki sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice sprawl there from Nettles as Tasalakki shoots in.

Tasalakki shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Nettles pushes Tasalakki off looking to stand but Tasalakki dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nettles is defending against the submission attempts here by Tasalakki.
Tasalakki prevents Nettles from standing back up.
Still in half guard, Tasalakki seems content to control.
Tasalakki is keen to just control but Nettles is a slippery customer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
The crowd cheers as Nettles lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tasalakki doesn't seem phased though.
Tasalakki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nettles throws out the jab.

Nettles is trying to break the clinch but Tasalakki is controlling him.
Nettles has had enough of the clinch but Tasalakki keeps him there for the moment.
Tasalakki gets through Nettles's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Nettles takes an elbow to the temple.
Tasalakki has Nettles pressed against the cage.
Tasalakki prevents Nettles from breaking the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Tasalakki obliges.
Nettles wants to get back to striking at distance but Tasalakki won't allow it.

Nettles has had enough of the clinch but Tasalakki keeps him there for the moment.

Nettles tries to circle away but Tasalakki has him pinned against the cage.
Tasalakki has Nettles pressed against the cage, preventing Nettles from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Tasalakki lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Nettles fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Nettles is trying to drag Tasalakki to the mat but Tasalakki just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Tasalakki lands a left hand that snaps the head of Nettles backwards.
Tasalakki throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nettles blocks it with crossed arms.

Nettles pushes Tasalakki off looking to stand but Tasalakki dives back in and keeps control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Nettles is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tasalakki asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Tasalakki is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nettles has escaped the position, nice work there.
Tasalakki lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Nettles down.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Tasalakki has an Americana. Nettles didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tasalakki is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tasalakki hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
