The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Mark dansted has been cut.
Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
dansted takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
dansted cracks the inside of Smith's front leg.
dansted throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Smith.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

dansted shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smith's guard.

dansted closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Smith gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows dansted to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Smith isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. dansted stacks Smith on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by dansted!
dansted wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smith keeps working.

A slapping body kick lands there for dansted.
Smith connects with a crisp jab.
Smith moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Smith throws a right hand that dansted ducks under and follows up with a left that dansted also avoids with ease.

dansted throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smith was covering up waiting for the punch and dansted finishes the takedown easily into guard.

dansted decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
dansted looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Smith is not content to let dansted control the position.
