PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Horacio Araujo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Araujo has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Kai Tyson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tyson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Araujo defends it nicely.
Araujo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A punch combination from Araujo misses.
Araujo misses with a body shot.
Araujo is breathing heavily.
Tyson throws a right hand that Araujo ducks under and follows up with a left that Araujo also avoids with ease.
Araujo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Araujo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Araujo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tyson circles away quickly and effectively.
Araujo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tyson manages to avoid it.

Tyson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tyson wants to control but Araujo is keeping him busy.

Tyson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Araujo, who protects the arm well.

Tyson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Araujo wants to get back to his feet.
Tyson is looking to take a break and control but Araujo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tyson is working to tighten is grip on Araujo's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Araujo has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tyson is really squeezing tight and eventually Araujo passes out! Tyson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
