Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tony Difelco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Lyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Difelco comes into the arena with Gary Numan - Down In The Park blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Difelco misses with a few strikes there.

Difelco is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lyle's half guard.
Lyle keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lyle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Difelco is working away from the top position though.
Difelco thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Lyle holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Let's hope that Lyle has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Lyle lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Difelco!
Lyle can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Difelco is looking to escape.
Difelco is looking to improve his position but Lyle isn't that keen on the idea.

Difelco is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Lyle tries to control but Difelco wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lyle pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Lyle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lyle loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Difelco scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Lyle land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Lyle stands and salutes the crowd.
