The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Compton pushes Bush up against the cage in a clinch.
Bush works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Compton tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Bush has had enough of the clinch but Compton keeps him there for the moment.
Compton fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Compton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bush walks away with a smile on his face. Compton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Compton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Compton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Bush won't allow Compton to pass to mount.
Bush trying to control from the bottom.
Compton is taking a breather. Bush says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Compton passes the guard and advances to mount!
Compton looking to control but Bush is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Compton throwing strikes here but Bush is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Compton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bush is looking to escape.
Bush is desperately trying to improve his position but Compton has a good base and remains in mount.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Compton looking to control but Bush is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Compton controlling from the full mount.
Compton lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Bush wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Compton.
Compton wants to control the pace but Bush is squirming around nicely.

Compton lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bush hang on?
Compton controlling the pace for now.
Compton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bush is looking to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bush is looking to get to half guard.
Compton controlling from mount.

Despite being in the dominant position, Brian Compton just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Compton moves into range and clinches up with Bush.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A frustrated look appears on Bush's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A knee to the head by Compton.

It looks like Harry Bush has been cut.

Compton gets control of Bush's arms and successfully pulls guard. Compton will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Compton trying to keep a closed guard but Bush is proving a slippery customer.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bush scores with a jab to the body.
Bush throws an overhand right that lands on Compton's shoulder, as Compton tries to avoid the shot.

Bush cracks Compton with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Compton looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bush finish him?

It looks like Brian Compton has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bush misses with a body shot.
Bush motions for Compton to come forward. Bush throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Bush lands a left and a right that send Compton crashing to the mat, dazed. Bush thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Compton is rocked!
Bush closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Compton out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
