Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edmundo Animal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Kilgore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Kilgore looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kilgore shoots in and drives through. Animal sprawls well.

Animal gets the takedown into side control.
Kilgore tries to improve position but can't.
Animal creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kilgore sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Animal is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kilgore knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Animal lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Animal shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kilgore is trying to defend but Animal finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Animal has hold of Kilgore's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kilgore manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Animal is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kilgore knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Kilgore's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Animal is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kilgore doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Animal.

Animal is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kilgore is just riding it out for now. Animal eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Animal is keen to just control but Kilgore is a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Animal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kilgore tries to avoid it but Animal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kilgore to the ground. Kilgore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kilgore takes the fight into the clinch.
Kilgore will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Animal up against the cage.

No joy there for Kilgore, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Animal shoots for a takedown but Kilgore saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kilgore clinches up with Animal and pushes him back against the cage.
Kilgore wants to get back to striking at distance but Animal won't allow it.

Kilgore is pressed up against the cage. Animal has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kilgore down to the mat. Kilgore avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
James Kilgore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Animal closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Animal wants to control for a moment but Kilgore uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

I would just about give that final round to James Kilgore.
