Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Aruba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khan Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mauricio Aruba could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Khan Singh's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Khan Singh!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aruba instigates a clinch.
Singh is leaning against Aruba and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Aruba.
Singh swings wildly with an uppercut but Aruba uses good head movement to avoid it.
Aruba gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Khan Singh has been cut.

Aruba breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Singh throws a series of strikes that have Aruba backpedaling.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Aruba.
Singh sneaks back into half guard.
Singh moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Singh wants to sweep but no luck.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Aruba is breathing heavily.
Singh catches Aruba with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Singh goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Aruba shoots in for a takedown but Singh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Singh dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Singh tries to bum rush Aruba with a series of wild strikes but Aruba uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Aruba avoids a punch combination nicely.
Singh fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aruba takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aruba drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Singh closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Aruba is rocked!
Singh throws a right and a left that Aruba avoids nicely.
Oh Aruba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Aruba walks straight into a right hand from Singh - that's dropped him! Singh jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Aruba from any more punishment! Aruba complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
