The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diccico jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Diccico tries to clinch but Parker is having none of it.
Diccico is looking to clinch.
Parker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Diccico tries to clinch there but Parker circles away.
Diccico fails with an attempt to clinch.
Diccico tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parker swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Parker sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Parker throws his legs up looking for a submission but Diccico uses it to pass to side control.

Diccico scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Parker to see if he's OK.
Diccico tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Parker is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Diccico has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Parker gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Parker manages to get to full guard.
Diccico looking to pass the guard.
Parker working for a triangle but Diccico defends it easily.

Diccico stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Parker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diccico can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Parker wants to sweep here but Diccico controlling him for the moment.

Diccico stands and throws Parker's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Parker tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Diccico goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Parker has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Diccico but great work by Parker.
Parker working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Diccico is trying to control Parker's posture but Parker avoids it.
Parker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Parker gets to mount! Diccico was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Parker drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Diccico dives on top into guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Diccico is looking for a kimura but Parker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Diccico to get the leverage.
Parker regains full guard. Nicely done.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Diccico is looking to stand up but Parker won't let him.
