Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jouni Janteva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reino Jalkine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janteva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jalkine moves out of range of the body kick from Janteva.
Jalkine tries a head kick but it misses.
Janteva avoids the head kick by Jalkine.
Nice sprawl there from Jalkine as Janteva shoots in.
Janteva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jalkine pinned against the cage. Jalkine gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jalkine tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Janteva works over Jalkine's head and body with a nice combination.

Janteva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Jalkine tries to buck Janteva off but Janteva is having none of it.
Jalkine is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Janteva is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jalkine's shoulder. That is not cool.

Janteva decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A head kick misses from Jalkine.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Janteva pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Janteva wants to clinch.

Janteva scores with a takedown into Jalkine's guard.
Jalkine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Janteva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Janteva is breathing heavily.

Jalkine is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Janteva is aware though and is defending well.

and Janteva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Jalkine escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Janteva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Janteva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jalkine has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Janteva has managed to get both his arms back between Jalkine's legs - danger averted.

Jalkine has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Janteva is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jalkine.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Janteva lands a decent elbow from side control.
Jalkine is trying to improve his position.

Janteva moves into full mount! Jalkine won't be happy about that!
Jalkine wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Jalkine tries to escape the position.
Janteva lands punches and elbows.
Will Janteva go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Janteva has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Jalkine.
I really don't envy Jalkine right now.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Janteva biding his time, looking for the opening.
You can see the frustration on Jalkine's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Jalkine is trying to roll into a better position but Janteva has get a rear naked choke and Jalkine is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
