Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bud Kronik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Hirvi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kronik comes into the arena with I Love You Mary Jane blaring out of the sound system. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hirvi gets a takedown into half guard.
Kronik is trying to get back to full guard.
Kronik won't allow Hirvi to pass to mount.
Hirvi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Kronik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hirvi on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hirvi throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kronik because Hirvi loaded up on that one.

Kronik bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hirvi had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kronik is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hirvi Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kronik's back instead.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kronik paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Kronik leaves Hirvi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hirvi shoots for a double leg takedown but Kronik sprawls well. He's pushed Hirvi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
