Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bosse Grepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Fluke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bosse Grepp!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luke Fluke!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grepp is looking to clinch but Fluke is avoiding it.
Grepp shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fluke pinned against the cage. Fluke gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Luke Fluke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fluke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grepp moves away.
Grepp tries to clinch there but Fluke circles away.
Fluke throws the left hand but Grepp avoids the punch easily.
Grepp bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fluke misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Grepp.
The fight stays on the outside here - Grepp looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fluke lands a really nice looking cross but Grepp seems unphased.


It looks like Bosse Grepp has been cut.

Fluke gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Grepp to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Grepp loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Grepp wants to pass the guard but Fluke is keeping the position.

Grepp takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nice uppercut lands for Fluke. That snapped Grepp's head back.

Grepp tries to close the distance and clinch but Fluke swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oh Grepp is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fluke throws the left hand but Grepp avoids the punch easily.

Grepp drives through and clinches with Fluke against the cage.
Fluke lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Fluke throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Grepp seems to have got his legs back now.
Grepp jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fluke walks away with a smile on his face. Grepp gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Fluke throws a body punch but Grepp moves out of range.

Fluke gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Grepp pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fluke is keeping the position for now.
Grepp looking to sit in guard and control but Fluke gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Grepp wants to sweep here but Fluke controlling him for the moment.
Fluke has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Grepp is proving hard to escape from.

Fluke gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
A swing and a miss from Fluke.
Grepp tries to clinch there but Fluke circles away.

Grepp gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fluke stalls.

Grepp is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fluke can't fight it off and eventually Grepp manages to take the fight to the floor. Fluke looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fluke is looking to stand up but Grepp isn't so interested in that idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Grepp's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Fluke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Grepp.
Grepp moves out of range as Fluke strikes.
Fluke misses with a straight right.
Fluke looks to land a left hand but Grepp moved out of range nicely.
Fluke throws a series of punches but Grepp avoids them all with ease.

Grepp is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fluke's half guard.

Fluke tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Grepp shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Grepp goes for an armbar but Fluke turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fluke.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Grepp is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Fluke wants to get up but he can't break Grepp's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Grepp is really struggling to control Fluke but he's trying to hold on to the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Fluke stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Grepp gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fluke.
Fluke throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fluke looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Grepp drives through and clinches with Fluke against the cage.
Grepp has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fluke is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Luke Fluke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Grepp counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fluke won't be happy with that.

Grepp has hold of Fluke's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Fluke seems comfortable defending it but Grepp has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Fluke is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Fluke is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Grepp couldn't care less - he's delighted!
