The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamehameha tries to bum rush Downmon with a series of wild strikes but Downmon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kamehameha throws a right and a left that both miss.
A telegraphed right hand from Kamehameha misses the target.
Downmon throws a sloppy head kick and Kamehameha moves out of range easily.
Kamehameha throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Downmon tries to clinch there but Kamehameha circles away.
Kamehameha leaves Downmon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Downmon takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kamehameha works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Yugoin Downmon has been cut.
Kamehameha throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Downmon colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Kamehameha as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Downmon is left battered and dazed whilst Kamehameha and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kona Kamehameha!
