Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Saint Peter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ren Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Wu-Tang Clan - Protect Ya Neck as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Saint Peter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ren Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peter delivers a nice body kick.
Peter throws a nice inside leg kick.
Peter throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie.
Peter throws a body punch but Gracie moves out of range.
Peter misses with an uppercut.
Peter cracks Gracie with an open hand slap.
Gracie throws a chopping leg kick but Peter manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Peter blocks a low kick nicely.
Peter misses with a head kick.
A jab from Peter finds it's way through Gracie's defenses.
Gracie thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nice uppercut lands for Gracie. That snapped Peter's head back.
Gracie gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Peter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Saint Peter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peter drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Gracie swings for the body but Peter moves out of range.
A left and a right from Peter both land. Nice combination.
Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Peter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Peter stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Peter misses with a hook. Gracie ducked under it nicely.
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Peter sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Saint Peter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ren Gracie.

It looks like Ren Gracie has been cut.
Peter doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gracie takes a swing at Peter's ribcage but misses.

Peter misses with a jab to the body
and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracie connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Peter's hands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Peter but Peter pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Peter misses with a shot to the body
letting Gracie counter with a right hand.
Gracie throws out a loose jab but Peter uses good head movement to avoid it.
Peter plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Good exchange - Gracie coming out on top.
Gracie misses with a wild body shot.
Gracie misses with a looping left.
Gracie throws a body punch but Peter moves out of range.
Peter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Peter.
Gracie takes one on the button.

Gracie misses with a straight right.
Peter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gracie.
Gracie misses with a body kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Gracie.
Gracie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gracie lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Peter has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Peter and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Gracie lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Peter circles away quickly and effectively.
Peter misses with a shot to the body

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie working some strikes from top position.
Gracie throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Peter works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Peter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Peter tries to get out of the position.
Peter working a defensive guard here.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Peter swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gracie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gracie passes into half guard.
Peter is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gracie scores with a couple of nice shots.
Gracie is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Peter!
Peter is bucking up trying to escape but Gracie cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Gracie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Peter slips a straight right by Gracie.
Gracie throws a body punch but Peter moves out of range.
Gracie throws a body kick, spinning off balance
enabling Peter to counter with a crisp jab.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Peter counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Peter is just out of range.
Peter tries a low kick but Gracie avoids it.
Gracie misses with an uppercut.
Peter is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.
Peter misses with an uppercut. Gracie saw that one coming.
A big left from Gracie misses.

Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Peter.
Peter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.
Gracie swinging wilding here.
Gracie shoots for a takedown but Peter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Peter is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.
Saint Peter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Peter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gracie avoids the body shot from Peter.
Peter throws a jab when Gracie was well out of range.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Gracie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peter manages to avoid it.
Peter shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Peter ducks right into an uppercut from Gracie.
Gracie avoids the body shot from Peter.
Peter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Peter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab.
Peter misses with a double jab.

Peter throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Peter slips a jab from Gracie.
Peter gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Peter looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Peter takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gracie throws a hook but Peter blocks it.
Peter is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gracie.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gracie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peter manages to avoid it.
Peter lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gracie grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Peter takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Gracie cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ren Gracie!
