Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kook Killa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeshi Sendou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killa misses with a two punch combination.
Killa stuffs the takedown attempt from Sendou. Sendou gets slowly back to his feet.
Sendou blocks a head kick by Killa.
Sendou takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Killa throws a half hearted mid kick.
Killa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sendou.
Sendou shoots for a takedown but Killa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kook Killa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takeshi Sendou.
Sendou is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Killa.

It looks like Takeshi Sendou has been cut.
Killa leaves Sendou with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Sendou fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Killa sprawls well initially but Sendou persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Killa tries to kick Sendou off but Sendou keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Sendou is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Killa has managed to free his arm - good work.

Sendou takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Killa is trying to stand up here but Sendou is controlling him well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Sendou thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A head kick from Killa lands but Sendou takes it in his stride.
Sendou avoids the head kick by Killa.
Killa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Killa stalks Sendou and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sendou's face. Sendou staggers backwards, shaken.
Nice sprawl there from Killa as Sendou shoots in.

Sendou shoots in but Killa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Killa lands a glancing blow to the side of Sendou's head.
Killa connects with a single shot there.
Killa misses with a double jab.
Killa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Killa scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Killa scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Killa connects with a single shot there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Killa lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sendou backs up against the cage.
Killa throws a head kick that misses.

Sendou shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Killa sprawls well. Killa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sendou gets slowly back to his feet.
Killa swings for the body but Sendou moves out of range.
Killa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Killa misses with a body shot.
Kook Killa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Sendou fails with the takedown.
Sendou drops his hands momentarily and Killa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sendou takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Killa throws a head kick that half lands.

That has opened up Takeshi Sendou's cut even more.
Killa jabs at Sendou's body.
Sendou is breathing heavily.

Killa connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Sendou tumbling to the canvas! Killa pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Sendou was done - good stoppage!
