PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Valio Hristov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and peter robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). robinson has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. peter robinson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hristov closes the distance and lands a one-two.

robinson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hristov is trying to defend but robinson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hristov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. robinson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hristov lands a jab-cross combination.
Hristov lands a two punch combo.
robinson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Hristov stuns robinson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Hristov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of robinson's head.

A right-left combo lands from Hristov.
Hristov connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent robinson tumbling to the canvas! Hristov pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! robinson was done - good stoppage!
