The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Hoy.
Lauzou swinging wilding here.
Hoy scores with a nice right hand.
Lauzou moves out of range of the strikes.
Hoy throws a jab when Lauzou was well out of range.
Hoy looks to score with a jab to the body but Lauzou is just out of range.
Hoy throws a good cross that connects.
Hoy dives in and grabs Lauzou's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lauzou pushes down on Hoy's head and hops out.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lauzou crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hoy - the referee stops the clock and Lauzou gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hoy. Lauzou manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Hoy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lauzou cracks a nice hook into Hoy's ribs.
Lauzou slips under a jab from Hoy.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Hoy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoy throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Hoy is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Lauzou looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hoy gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Lauzou is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hoy lets go of the hold and Lauzou can pop his arm back in it's socket.
