Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats Mahlik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahlik moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mahlik missing with a left hand there. Wright was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

It looks like Mats Mahlik has been cut.

Wright tried to score with a low kick but Mahlik checks it.

Wright works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Wright throws a lazy right hand but Mahlik sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mahlik lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Wright cracks Mahlik with a good jab.
Wright works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mahlik doesn't manage to clinch there - Wright circles away.
